| Description | The annual Great Reno Balloon Race is a free event that attracts ballooning enthusiasts from across the state. One of the highlights of the event is the Dawn Patrol during which early risers can watch the balloons rise into the dark sky set to music. Other events include the Glow Show, the Tissue Paper Balloon Launch, the Balloon Boulevard and Balloon Blackjack a game where players attemp to drop counters from their balloons on to giant cards laid out in the field below.
