Join us for the 12th Annual Blueberry Festival, a celebration of the lush blueberry season. This family-oriented outdoors event features FREE live music including headliners Good Time Travelers, berry picking, local arts and crafts booths, tasty blueberry treats, beer and wine garden, hiking and biking, pie eating contest, blueberry creations contest and more! Whether you're in the mood for funnel cake or fine art, our local vendors will have what you're looking for. (2019 events schedule is tentative.)

Pie Eating Contest - Saturday and Sunday 1:15 - 2 pm
How fast can you eat a blueberry pie? No hands! Open to both kids and adults. $5 entry fee.


Free Chairlift Rides on Bear Cub Quad (12 - 6pm) & Chair 7 (3 - 6pm)
Take the easy way up the hill to find the best berry stashes! Bear Cub Quad will be open for foot traffic starting at 12pm; park at the Daylodge and take the chairlift to the festival. Chair 7 will open at 3pm for access to berry picking! (Please note: Minimum height restrictions will apply. Must be 40" or taller. No infants or strollers)

Blueberry Creations Contest - Sunday at 2:15 pm
Whip up a sweet or savory treat featuring blueberries to win great prizes and bragging rights. Drop off creations at the info booth by 1pm.

Sidewalk Sale
Stop by the Annual Blueberry Sidewalk Sale inside The Hotel Alyeska for great savings at Alyeska Mountain Sports and Glacier Gift & Gallery all weekend!

Blueberry 5K Fun Run (Sunday Only)
Walk, run, hop or skip. This is a fun run!

Blood Bank of Alaska Sunday 11 am - 6 pm

Eat well, stay hydrated, and bring a photo ID to donate and make a difference during the festival.
